Our story
Four friends. One shared idea.
On June 14, 2025, we were strolling along Rue Saint-Jean in Québec City. Curious, we stepped into Leelove and explored the intimate games on offer. We were looking for something that felt like us: gentle, playful and inviting, a game everyone could feel comfortable with.
We left without a game, but with an idea.
What if we created our own? A dice game for couples, inspired by the many-sided dice used in role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons. This time, instead of deciding the fate of heroes, the dice would suggest moments to share.
We already shared one conviction: consent had to be part of the game from the very beginning. Not as a footnote in the rules, but as its guiding principle.
That same evening, over a leisurely wine-and-cheese dinner, we put our ideas on paper. What would each die do? How would the roles work? How could we leave room for surprise while respecting everyone’s boundaries? Together, the four of us laid the foundations: six dice, invitations to explore and the freedom to accept, ask for an adjustment or decline, without ever having to explain why.
Today, Désire-moi carries the spirit of that day: curiosity, connection and the joy of imagining a different way to play, together.
